Bring your Evertune data directly into ChatGPT or Claude. Ask questions about your AI visibility, competitors, topics, and sources in plain language, and get answers grounded in your Evertune account.
What it is
The Evertune connector uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets AI assistants securely access data from other tools. Once connected, ChatGPT or Claude can pull your Evertune data into a conversation: tracker scores, topic performance versus competitors, cited domains and URLs, keyword sentiment, shopping data, and Ads Manager performance.
The connector is read-only and scoped to your own account. It can only see brands and trackers you already have access to in Evertune, and it never changes anything in your workspace.
Before you begin
You'll need:
An active Evertune account
A ChatGPT or Claude plan that supports custom connectors (see plan notes in each section below)
Permission to authorize access to your Evertune account
If your ChatGPT or Claude workspace is managed by your company, approval from your workspace administrator (some organizations restrict which connectors can be added)

Evertune is currently offered as a custom connector while we work toward listing in the ChatGPT and Claude directories. Menu names and placement can vary slightly by plan and as ChatGPT and Claude update their products.
Connect Evertune in ChatGPT
Evertune is currently available as a custom connector in ChatGPT. Adding one requires Developer mode, which is available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans. On Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces, an admin may need to enable Developer mode or add the connector for the workspace.
Turn on Developer mode
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings.
Select Apps & Connectors (labeled Connectors in some versions).
Scroll to Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Add the Evertune connector
Back on the Apps & Connectors page, click Create (or Add custom connector).
Enter the following:
Name: Evertune
Description: Evertune AI visibility data (optional)
MCP Server URL: https://mcp.evertune.ai/mcp
Authentication: OAuth
Check the box to acknowledge that you trust this application, then click Create.
Click Connect, sign in to your Evertune account when prompted, and authorize access.
To verify the connection: the Evertune connector should now show as connected on the Apps & Connectors page. Start a new chat, click + > More, and select Evertune (Developer mode must be on for it to appear). Send a quick test, such as "Which brands do I have in Evertune?"
Connect Evertune in Claude
Evertune is currently available in Claude as a custom connector. Custom connectors are available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner adds the connector once for the whole organization, and each teammate then connects it with their own Evertune login.
Add the Evertune connector
Open Claude and go to Settings > Connectors. (Team and Enterprise Owners: go to Admin settings > Connectors to add it for your organization.)
Scroll down and click Add custom connector.
Enter the following:
Name: Evertune
Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.evertune.ai/mcp
Leave the advanced OAuth Client ID and Client Secret fields blank.
Click Add.
Find Evertune in your connector list and click Connect.
Sign in to your Evertune account when prompted and authorize access.
To verify the connection: return to Connectors and confirm Evertune shows as connected. Start a new chat, open the connectors menu (the tools icon in the message box), and confirm Evertune is toggled on. It's on by default once connected. Send a quick test, such as "Which brands do I have in Evertune?"
Using Evertune in a conversation
Turn Evertune on (Claude) or add it to the chat (ChatGPT) whenever you want the assistant to use your Evertune data. Leave it off for conversations where it isn't needed.
A good first prompt is to ask which brands are available, then drill in from there. Some examples:
"List my brands in Evertune, then show me the trackers for [Brand]."
"How does [Brand] score against competitors on the [Tracker] tracker?"
"Which topics is [Brand] losing to competitors on, and by how much?"
"What domains and URLs are most cited in AI responses for [Brand]?"
"Show me example AI responses for [Topic] and summarize how [Brand] is described."
"What keywords are associated with [Brand], and what's the sentiment?"
"Which retailers and products show up in shopping responses for [Brand]?"
"Summarize our ChatGPT ad campaign performance from Ads Manager for the last 30 days."
"Search the Evertune help center for how tracker cadence works."
“Make me a slide on how [Brand] compares to competitors.”
Use exact brand and tracker names as they appear in Evertune for the most reliable results. If you're not sure of a name, ask the assistant to list them first.
Troubleshooting
Evertune doesn't appear in the Apps or Connectors list. Search for "Evertune" directly. If it still isn't available, your workspace may restrict custom connectors; check with your administrator or contact your Evertune AI Success Manager.
The Apps or Connectors menu is missing. Confirm your ChatGPT or Claude plan supports apps or custom connectors. On managed workspaces, an administrator may need to enable them.
Sign-in or authorization fails. Make sure your Evertune account is active and you can log in to the Evertune platform directly, then retry the connection. If it keeps failing, contact your AI Success Manager.
The assistant isn't using Evertune data. In ChatGPT, mention @Evertune or add it to the chat. In Claude, open the connectors menu and check that Evertune is toggled on for that conversation. Starting a new chat after connecting also helps.
The assistant says it can't find a brand. The connector only sees brands you have access to in Evertune. Ask it to list your brands and use the exact name.
FAQs
Does the connector change anything in my Evertune account?
No. It's read-only but write access is coming soon. It can retrieve data but can't create, edit, or delete trackers, campaigns, or settings.
Who can see my brand’s data?
Only you, based on your own Evertune login. Each user authorizes the connector individually, and it returns only data that user is permitted to see in Evertune.
Can I disconnect it later?
Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Apps & Connectors and disconnect or delete the Evertune connector. In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors and remove it.
Does this work in Claude Code or other MCP clients?
Evertune MCP is supported by any AI agent that work with an MCP server.
