Overview
With the Starter plan, Evertune's agents analyze your brand's organic AI visibility, identify your visibility gaps and strengths, then build, launch and optimize a ChatGPT ads campaign around them.
If you're on an Enterprise plan, see the Evertune Onboarding Guide (Enterprise Plans).
What's included in Starter
Evertune's Starter Plan starts at $60 per month, which includes platform access and 5,000 prompt credits per month for tracking organic AI visibility. ChatGPT ads you run through Evertune are billed separately at 10% of your media spend. Media costs are paid directly to OpenAI.
Getting started
Step 1: Create your account
Go to app.evertune.ai and click Sign up below the login form.
Sign up with Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft Account, or your email.
If you signed up with email, create a password and click Continue.
Once your account is created, you'll be prompted to add in details about your brand.
The first person to create an account for your organization becomes its admin. After setup, you can add teammates and set user permissions from Manage Account.
Step 2: Set up your brand
Next, add the brand name and URL. Your brand details are used to measure your visibility in AI models and to build your ChatGPT ad campaigns.
Brand Name
Website URL
Country: The market you want to track. This defaults to United States.
Language: The language your prompts will run in. This defaults to English. See Language & Country Support for the full list.
Click Continue.
Step 3: Create your first tracker
Once your brand is added, you can create your first tracker. A tracker is the set of topics and prompts used to measure your visibility in AI models. Our Prompt Agent generates suggested topics and prompts based on your brand and real user prompts from EverPanel.
Review the suggested topics and prompts
Click a topic to expand it and read its prompts.
You can manually adjust or use the Prompt Agent to:
Add Topics to create a new topic and related prompts
Add Prompts on a topic to generate more prompts for it
Edit or delete a topic or prompt (for example "focus the prompts on on noise-canceling headphones for travelers")
By default, prompts do not include your brand's name. This provides unaided awareness of your organic AI visibility. If you want the prompts to include your brand's name, check the box Include brand in prompts and ask the agent to generate new prompts.
Step 4. Subscribe and launch
Review the details of your set up.
Enter your card details, cardholder name, country and ZIP code, then click Save.
After your payment processes, you will receive an in-app confirmation indicating your Starter subscription is active and your visibility tracker is being set up.
Tracker insights are usually ready within a few hours, but can take up to 24 hours. Check progress on the Tracker Status page, and look for an email when your report is complete.
Step 5: Connect your OpenAI Ads account
After you've created your tracker, you can connect your OpenAI Ads account to launch ChatGPT ads from Evertune. Choose the option that fits your situation.
Option A: You already have an OpenAI Ads account
Select Already have an OpenAI Ads account and API Key?
Log in to OpenAI Ads Manager.
Go to Settings > General and click Create New Key.
Name the key, create it, and copy it. OpenAI Ads keys start with
sk-ads-.Back in Evertune, paste the key into OpenAI Ads API Key.
Optionally add a Label to name the account inside Evertune.
Click Get Started with Ads.
You keep ownership of your OpenAI account, and your ad spend is billed there. Campaigns sync both ways, so anything you create in Evertune or OpenAI shows up in both.
Option B: You don't have an OpenAI Ads account
Select Don't have one yet? and Evertune will create an OpenAI Ads account for you. No API key is needed.
Upload your brand logo, or paste an image URL. The logo is used in your ad creatives.
Confirm the Advertiser Name and Website URL.
Choose your Timezone and Currency.
Add a Default Ad Creative image URL. This image is used by default in new ads and must be at least 640 x 640 pixels.
Optionally add a Label, then submit.
Double-check your website URL, currency and timezone before you submit, since they can't be changed later. Once your account is created, you'll see your Ads Manager dashboard.
For more detail on Ads Manager, see How to run ads in ChatGPT through Ads Manager.
Step 6: Launch a ChatGPT Ads campaign
Once your OpenAI Ads account is connected, you can launch a campaign while your tracker is loading, or wait for your results and let the Ads Agent build a strategy for you. You can also do both.
Path A: While your tracker is loading
You can create a campaign right away with the campaign wizard, and the Ads Agent can write your context hints and ad copy for you. In Ads Manager, click + Create at the top right, then complete these four steps.
Campaign. Enter a Campaign name, choose a Budget type (for example, Lifetime) and set the Campaign budget (minimum $1). Pick a Campaign objective, which is passed to OpenAI as the bidding type. Optionally add a Location by city, state, ZIP or country (leave it blank for no targeting). Set a start date and time, and optionally an end date.
Ad Group. Name the ad group by audience or theme, for example "High-intent buyers." Set your Max CPM (defaults to $60) and the Website URL ads should send people to. Click Generate Hints to have Evertune write context hints from your website, or type your own and press Enter. Context hints tell ChatGPT which conversations your ad belongs in.
Ads. Add an internal Ad name (3 to 1,000 characters) and a Final URL. Click Generate headline + description to have Evertune write the copy, or write a Headline (up to 50 characters) and Description (up to 100 characters) yourself. Upload an Ad image (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 10 MB, square recommended) or choose one from your asset library. Click + Add another ad to add variants.
Review. Check the campaign, ad group and ad preview, then click Create campaign.
Path B: After your tracker results are ready
Once your tracker results are ready, you can have the Ads Agent build a campaign strategy from your visibility data. Look for the banner at the top of Ads Manager.
Click Create Ads Strategy.
Select the tracker you want the Ads Agent to build from, then click Continue.
Review the strategy. The Ads Agent groups your topics into three campaigns by organic visibility:
Boost for topics where you barely appear
Grow for topics with inconsistent mentions
Call to Action for topics you already win.
Review each ad group's target URL, context hints and ad copy. Edit anything inline, or ask the Ads Agent in chat, for example "only focus on travel topics."
Generate the campaigns, then set each campaign's status to active.
The default budget split is 50% Boost, 30% Grow and 20% Call to Action, and you can change it at any time.

Troubleshooting and FAQs
Can I change my topics and prompts after launch?
Yes. You can refine topics and prompts at any time after launch from your tracker's settings. Changes use credits the next time the tracker runs.
My tracker is still loading.
Reports are usually ready within a few hours and can take up to 24 hours, depending on how quickly ChatGPT returns responses. Check progress on the Tracker Status page. You'll get an email when the report is complete. If it takes longer than 24 hours, contact [email protected].
Where do I find my OpenAI Ads API key?
Log in to OpenAI Ads Manager, go to Settings > General and click Create New Key. Copy the full key, which starts with sk-ads-, and paste it into Evertune with no extra spaces.
My API key isn't accepted.
Make sure you copied an OpenAI Ads API key, not a standard OpenAI platform key. If you still can't connect, create a new key and try again, or choose Don't have one yet? to let Evertune create an account for you.
My campaign isn't spending.
Check your context hints first. Vague hints can cause low delivery, so rewrite them as a persona and intent, then wait 48 to 72 hours before raising your bid. Also confirm that your robots.txt allows OAI-AdsBot and OAI-SearchBot.
Can I delete a tracker? What if I made a tracker by accident?
Once a tracker runs, its credits are used, so you can not delete it.
